Oh Ed, What Happened?

Once a great side kick to an American icon, Ed McMahon is now selling products on a horrible infomercial. What happened? How could the sexy stern right side voice of Johnny turn into celebrity nightmare? It brings me great sadness to watch the cash for gold commercial where he and another cautionary tale MC Hammer sell of some of their most prize gold possessions to make the rent on their multimillion dollar homes. It actually makes me want to take grandpa Ed in to my home and make him soup. I hope when he ends up in the home he doesn't try to pawn the teeth of residents that have passed, that would just be creepy.
