Stretch Out Both Arms to the Side and Die

There must be a fine line between sanity and conviction. Those who find religion to be the bane of all existence must often find their conviction tested often. The true question is how far would you go to prove that conviction? As history would have it, many people perished believing they were right; Joan of Ark, Napoleon, Pat Tillman, even Hitler. But what if they were wrong? What if that hard core, no non-sense belief was only that, a belief? In my heart I would have to believe that even Christ was looking down from the cross thinking to himself, "this might have been a bad idea".
