I would volunteer if the price was right.

there is an old saying that time is money. and with recent gas prices sky rocketing to new and ridiculous heights, working for nothing seems to be more and more a waste of resources. with most two income families feeling the fiscal vise tighten more every day where does that leave those that count on the generosity of others? not very well off I'm sad to say. in fact for the most part the American volunteer is having to find steady work. organizations around the world that rely on US aide and support might soon find themselves grasping deep into empty pockets. the generous spirit of the American public only works if money is available to support it.
